 ***** NEWS UPDATE 11/07 **** Zira 28 (Yukiko) kindly send another report from Japan. There really not a whole lot of news for Microman. The biggest news for Microman collectors is probably the announcement of new Magnemo series line. The new series will be remake of the old Magnemo toys (none-Microman licenses) from the 70's and interestingly will be produced by CM and not Tomy. (Are we seeing the end of Takara Microman division?) The company also plan 1/18 scale Mospeda line, which will make the toys the same size as Microman figures. Mospeda (Genesis Climber) line will feature fully transformable bikes from the series. On related Magnemo news, Bandai is releasing Chogokin version of Kotetsu Geeg. Some of Microman figures, as to be expected, are being push back to 2008. Toys R Us is offering exclusive "Hand Set" for Scopedog with purchased of Votoms DMZ series. Votoms Series DMZ-05 Scopedog Turbo Custom will be coming in late December along with another Cuvie this time in his military outfit. The Scopedog is another retooled version of DMZ-01. Toys R Us is offering special "Hand Set" when purchase DMZ Votoms. Wingman Series Dream Warrior Wingman line-up will include MA-SP04 with Wingman in blue along with Dream Girl figure and MAP-04 Wingman (red version) with transforming bike. (These are looking really nice!) Lupin Series This series is also commemorate 40th Anniversary of Lupin (the original manga dated back to 1969). There are two set of Microman Lupin both are part of the new "ML-SP" line. ML-SP01 Lupin and gold plated "Microman Lupin" and ML-SP02 Fujiko MIne and chromed "Microlady Fujiko". Both items are now being moved to next year. Wrecker Signa Project Series Wrecker Signa Lady Renaly (purple) will be available as campaign promotion (1000 pieces) for those who purchase Wrecker Signa music CDs. The other two are going to be part of DVD promotion - Wrecker Signa DVD Phase 1 Ruly (pink) & Phase 2 Kily (black). Both of which are also mail-in promotion and limited to 1000 pieces. Wrecker Signa Lady Sally & Emily (blue & orange) will be sold as 2-packs set. Sally & Emily Wrecker Signa Ladies (human versions) are being postponed to 2008 along with Exvern & Gran-Mirror set. Kinnikuman Series More Kinnikuman two-packs repaint set are plan for next year. (March 08).
